Below are some frequently asked questions that WMS receives.

We have recoded a training session for you to reference. If you review this training and still have questions, please submit a ticket with your questions.

A page gets a pink background to indicate that it is unpublished. You should also see the moderation options in this case. If you intend for the page to be live, then you will have to publish the page.

Yes! Every website managed by WMS gets Google Analytics tracking added to it. Please submit a ticket if you would like to receive that data. We can set you up with:

  • A recurring email report to be sent to you (people often opt for the past month's data to be sent on the first of each month, but frequencies can be customized).
  • A "comparison" which can be shared with you. This allows you to add a "comparison" (which is a report of your website's data, extracted from the larger bucket of all WMS website data) to view in your own Google Analytics account.

Yes! You can make any page require a Lehigh login to view. To do this:

  • Navigate to the page which you would like to place behind authentication.
  • Click the Grants tab which appears next to View and Edit.
  • In the View column, uncheck the checkbox for Anonymous user.
  • Click Save Grants.

This will now require a visitor to be logged in to view this page.

Note that you must be logged into the website to view links to secure pages in the menu. If you need to direct people to a secure page, place a link to a publicly-visible page in the menu. Link to the secure page from within the content of this page. It's a good idea to provide some context for people so that they know what they are logging in to view.

Also note that pages can only be secured to require a Lehigh login to access - we cannot create pages that are locked down to certain roles (e.g., faculty-only, department-only, etc.). Confluence or Course Site are better suited for sharing content like this.

University Communications & Public Affairs (UCPA) maintains a Photo Library. All photos in the Photo Library are free for you to use on your website.

Find the Photo Library and other resources here.
